Once again it’s summer time and that means it’s the return of bad barbeque, drinking warm flat beer out of cans in the back yard, with swarms of mosquitoes… and the Annul TFS Birthday Bonanza! So put down that burnt cheese burger and warm Genny light, Come inside and enjoy a nice cold beer off the tap and the musical styling of TYDUYA, and début performance of the Cock Sparrer cover band known as The Oi! Boys.
Show is set for Friday, June 6th at Monty’s Krown, so come down and celebrate the fact that even though we’re getting older, so still like to get drunk and act irresponsible.

Now that was a great weekend! Some of the most fun we’ve had in a long time! Nick kept his pants on, Stinky stayed relatively sober(ish), Karl lost his voice, Nate feed back, and Tom didn’t break any sticks and by Monday night, I was able to pick up on my queue on Devils Dance Floor.
For those wondering, the youngest Shannanighan is home and doing very well! Thanks to every one for their love, support and understanding.
I normally don’t do this…but I feel compelled to give shout outs to the following…
Props to The Dub Land Underground, everyone from the Door guy to the Bar Tenders were great.
Special thanks to Miguel for doing a great job with the sound!
Great job goes out to Liz and Grover (who for once didn’t choke) and anyone else I’m forgetting for coming up and helping out with vocals.
Nice job by Kirby for again setting the bar for spending the most time on stage while NOT playing in a band.
A very special Thanks to Rebecca for coming up and distracting the crowd’s attention from our ugly mugs…oh, she also did awesome rocking out on the Tin Flute!
A wow for Todd Grinder and Todd Lange for pulling off a great two man show on Monday night! The Todds just proved that you don’t need a lot of practice or a bass player (don’t tell anyone) to put on a great performance.
A Special “Word to your mother” for The Blastoffs. Dudes put on one of the best shows I’ve seen from them, and that’s saying something! They made it impossible for any band to follow, so we didn’t.
Us Shannanighans would like to say good bye to Todd Lange. We are sad to see you go. We got lucky enough to play a show with Todd sitting at the Kit, and I can’t express how much fun it was. Todd’s talent is surpassed only by his passion and enthusiasm! Not only being a great drummer, Todd is a great guy too, he’s the type of guy you can trust with your wife, but not your beer. Rockester will miss you Todd, hopefully you’ll be back to Rochester soon.
Enough of that, we are going back to work on our next album…we will hit the studio again this summer for what should be easily one of our top five best records! Look for our new release “Doing It for the Money” due out Fall 2010! See you at the next show!

The V-Day Massacre once again was a huge hit and a ton of fun! Thanks to Todd from the Blastoffs for jumping on drums for us. We got some new pics from the show already up on our MySpace page and will be added to Rockester as soon as I get around to it…
Now it’s once again time for Tom Foolery and the Shannanighans Annual St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza!!! We will be celebrating all day on Saturday and on Monday night at The Dub Land Underground by drinking way too much beer… doing multiple shots of Irish Whiskey and eating so much Corned Beef and Cabbage that our wives won't be sleeping with us for a week…oh yeah did I mention that we’ll be rocking out to popular Traditional Irish songs (Shannanigized), Covering your favorite modern Irish Rock hits and melting your face with your all time beloved TFS originals?
OK, I’m still trying to figure this out myself so here I go…We are playing three shows…The first show will be Saturday, March 15th. This will be right after the parade. The Second Show will be on Saturday Night, with special guests The Blastoffs. Our final show of the Holiday will be on Monday night, March 17th with special guests The Grinders.

Hello Ya from the Shannaighans…ROCKESTER.COM has finally been updated! I figured that we haven’t done anything for a while, so instead of working hard at my job, I’ve been stealing code and hacking up a new website. We’ve added a few new little features along with adding some poor quality live recordings and some new pictures. I hope you all enjoy.
As for TFS, it’s been a while since we’ve played a show, and we’ll probably no do one anytime soon, sorry…but we’ve been some busy boys…Now, after adding Nick’s brand new baby girl to the Shannanighan family, we patiently await for the arrival of Mr. Foolery’s new born. I personally will be waiting with a whisky in one hand and a smoke in the other. So, if you happen to see these two blokes looking thirsty at the bar, by em a drink, diapers are expensive.
In the meantime, were are hard at work getting ready for our holiday shows next February and March, if any one has any song requests, shoot us E-Mail or leave us a comment at our My Space page and we’ll get right on top of ignoring it.
